Dreams Come True…!

No lie.

Just the other day (while I was off here) I wrote a poem called “List of Wishes.” I wrote it before I had any coffee, so mostly it is an incoherent ramble about all the things I wish for. Coffee tops the list and ends the list, but right in the middle I wish for the perfect orange “pintalabios” (lipstick). And guess what the UPS man just dropped off for me? This:

Oooooooh. Caqui is a gorgeous creamy orange gloss – a little thick for my usual taste, more like a super shiny lipstick, but gosh. The colour is divine. I immediately changed into a boob-errific maxi dress, put my hair in a ponytail, and even though Chicago is still rocking spring-like rain and temps, I feel summer ready.

The shade is part of a Limited Edition M.A.C. series called Blogger’s Obsession. They invited 9 beauty bloggers to invent their dream make-up. 5 are lip glosses. I got the orange one, because as you know, I love orange lip gloss, but I found out about it from one of my favourite sites Afrobella – she created a fabulous purple gloss that will look gorgeous on women of colour.
