DOPE: 420 Stories About Weed, Kush, Pot, Prisons, Parents and People explores the life of a joint from seed to distribution. Created by artists age 13-19, the play is a kind of stoner social justice comedy, one that asks serious questions about the impact of the marijuana industry on Chicago's youth.  Directed and developed by Coya Paz, and created by artists age 13-19 at Free Street Theater, DOPE has had two runs - one in the Spring of 2013 and one in the Fall of 2014, which also included a touring performance at Monmouth College. (Hint: We tour!)

Free Street Youth Theatre revives their acclaimed show “DOPE” about the complicated perceptions, realities, and politics surrounding Marijuana. Youth players Patches Blanton, Elijah Ruiz, and Frances Hererra Lynn join the Morning AMp to talk about the show and deliver their performances from the show Live.
